While Mama was making me a cup of Blue Mountain as usual... (Dad still thinks I drink only Brazil) I saw something unusual...Dad was roasting a very COOL color of beans. It looks very pale, almost bleached with a hint of yellow... and the weight of the beans were very light. As he watched me be inquisitive (and you know he had a lot say, but didn't) I couldn't help but be amazed that color was so different, the weight was so different..but also the sound was different...the beans sounded almost hollow. "Normal" green beans feel like small stones.Finding out it was our Indian Monsoon Coffee. Got Mama to hold a handful of the Indian and a handful of Kona beans! see the difference!!
So I walked back over there a bit later and oddly enough, the once bleached yellow beans are now a trio of brown and tans... Truly one of the prettiest beans I have seen! and yes, that's a professional opinion!
